ATLANTA — Rheem is launching a mobile customer engagement program at Comfortech 2015. The company’s High Efficiency Air & Water Road Show, a mobile learning and training center, will roll into St. Louis next week for the first stop on a nationwide tour. The expandable 53-foot mobile trailer will feature a fully-connected classroom and meeting space, as well as interactive exhibits and touch-screen displays for Rheem and Ruud’s line of high-efficiency HVAC and water heating products. A ribbon cutting for the road show will take place at 12:30 p.m. on September 16th.

“As our high efficiency product lines continue to expand so does the need for one-on-one, hands-on education. We want to offer our customers the best experiential environment available,” said Bill Alderson, corporate director, marketing, Rheem. “This road show has been two years in the making and it was built using insightful feedback from Rheem and Ruud wholesalers, contractors and our sales teams. It seems fitting to unveil it at Comfortech.”

Designed with plenty of natural light and large, interactive display areas, the state of-the-art mobile learning center can be customized to offer hands-on product training, host special events or serve as an alternative to a trade show booth. It can also be easily rebranded to showcase either Rheem or Ruud products. The High Efficiency Air & Water Road Show will hit the road in September and crisscross the United States for 48 weeks.

To support the road show and get contractors engaged with the company’s high efficiency products, Rheem is also launching a social media promotion for contractors called InstallNation. Contractors submit photos of themselves installing Rheem or Ruud products and generate votes for a chance to win weekly prizes, and an entry for the grand prize of a trip for two to anywhere in the United States. The promotion begins at Comfortech and wraps up November 25, 2015; details are available at www.Rheem.com/InstallNation and www.Ruud.com/InstallNation.

One product highlight of the High Efficiency Air & Water Road Show is Rheem’s new Professional Prestige Series Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater, which will debut at Comfortech. Available in 50- and 80-gallon capacities, the Rheem Prestige Series Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater exceeds national ENERGY STAR requirements, and uses a combination of heat pump technology and standard electric heating elements. One of the most advanced hybrid water heaters on the market, this water heater is designed to save homeowners more than $4,000 over the life of the appliance.

The unit is enabled with Rheem’s EcoNet smart-home automated home heating, cooling and water heating integrated system. The EcoNet Smart Home System allows homeowners to control their air and water systems with a free app on their smartphone, and it gives contractors impressive diagnostics for faster service calls.

Furthering the company’s commitment to Comfortech 2015, Randy Roberts, vice president of sales, Rheem’s Air Conditioning Division, will speak at the conference’s Executive Leadership Symposium on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
