THE HIGH EF RESIDENTIAL GAS-FIRED WATER HEATER qualifies for the 2010 minimum Energy Star requirement.

THE HIGH EF RESIDENTIAL GAS-FIRED WATER HEATER qualifies for the 2010 minimum Energy Star requirement. Boasting an Energy Factor of .70, the new heater is atmospherically vented and utilizes a highly efficient blower to pull air through a tightly restricted baffle system, producing a high rate of heat transfer to water stored in the tank. It uses the company’s ICON system of intelligent gas control, and Vitraglas, a engineered enamel tank lining formula for superior corrosion resistance. The heater is offered in both 40- and 50-gal. models with inputs of 38,000 Btuh. The heater features the reliable and nearly maintenance-free  Defender Safety System to prevent flammable vapor ignition.
