NEW YORK, NY – ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, announced that its subsidiary ABM Franchising Group, LLC, has signed a franchise agreement with QuesTec Mechanical, a leading provider of mechanical contracting services in Central Missouri. QuesTec Mechanical expands ABM Franchising Group’s existing presence in the Midwest.

ABM Franchising Group, a portfolio of franchise networks that deliver mechanical and electrical service and preventive maintenance solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, consists of four franchise brands: Linc Service, GreenHomes America, TEGG, and CurrentSAFE. QuesTec Mechanical will operate under the Linc Service franchise brand, specializing in the mechanical service needs of commercial and institutional clients.

“With the success of our construction company, we have a growing need to provide service for our existing clients as well as a desire to build a successful service business on its own merits,” explains Scott Boyd, President of QuesTec Mechanical. “In becoming a Linc Service Contractor, QuesTec Mechanical believes we have found a like minded partner with the experience, technology, and people to help us become world class in the service we deliver.”

Located in Columbia, Missouri, QuesTec Mechanical has become a leading provider of plumbing, pipe fitting and HVAC service for commercial and institutional clients. Established in 1996, QuesTec Mechanical credits much of their success to their over one hundred industry experts that work for the company. In 2012, they completed thirty two million dollars of mechanical contracting services in the Central Missouri area.

QuesTec Mechanical was recognized with the 2012 Superior Safety Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC), Heart of America Chapter. The ABC Safety Council reviewed safety data, including experience modification, number of employees, hours worked, total OSHA recordable accidents, incident rate, and number of lost work day cases, in order to select the winner of this award. QuesTec Mechanical did not experience an OSHA recordable accident in 2011 and had the best overall safety score out of all thirty contractors nominated for the award.

“QuesTec Mechanical’s passion for their business and the industry together with our proven system will allow them to continue to grow and provide clients with the very best in mechanical service,” said Bert Kendall, Chief Operating Officer of ABM Franchising Group. “We welcome QuesTec Mechanical to our network and look forward to a successful partnership.”
