LOVES PARK, ILL. — Rothenberger USA has named Brian P. Allison as vice president and general manager.
In this role, Allison is responsible for expanding Rothenberger USA’s presence in the plumbing channel through innovative product implementation, superior customer service, and enhanced market visibility.
“We welcome Brian into the Rothenberger family and look forward to him delivering the same innovative, high-performance premium tools, machines and accessories throughout North America as found all over the rest of the world,” said Dr. Helmut Rothenberger, chairman of the supervisory board of Rothenberger AG, Germany.
Allison has 15 years of experience in international product management and strategic sales and marketing in the electrical, communications, and plumbing markets. Before accepting this new position, he held the position of national accounts manager–retail and national accounts manager–telecommunications for Greenlee Textron. Allison started his Greenlee career in product management and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University.

Allison replaces Chera M. Ellis, who is now business efficiency leader at Textron’s Bell Helicopter unit in Dallas.
Rothenberger USA is a joint venture between Greenlee Textron, a U.S.-based manufacturer of tools and equipment for installing wire and cable, and Rothenberger AG, a German based manufacturer of plumbing and pipe tools. Rothenberger USA produces threading machines, drain inspection and cleaning equipment, and hand tools to the plumbing and pipefitting trades.
