SAINT PAUL, MN — Nexstar Network has named Julian Scadden as vice president of operations.
Scadden has worked in the business operations side of the plumbing, heating and cooling industry for more than 20 years, and has found success all along the way. In 2013, the organization hired him on as the first training implementation coach, a role he helped create. For the last year and a half, he has been Nexstar’s training and events manager.
“I am honored to guide and develop the best-in-class, member-owned organization on the planet,” Scadden said. “Not only will we continue to serve with the care our members have known us for, we also continue to innovate, grow, and execute with precision just as we ask our members to.”
President and CEO Jack Tester explained that Scadden in this role will allow more resources, including his own time, to be directed toward increased member support and developments.
“Nexstar continues to enjoy great growth because of the success of our members, and so this position was needed. Julian was the perfect person to fill it,” Tester said. “Nexstar has grown dramatically in recent years and now has a unique opportunity to do even more for member companies. This move will allow us to continue to grow the effectiveness of Nexstar.”
Nexstar has also promoted Gina Baratto, previously an event planner with Nexstar, to events manager. She coordinates more than 100 annual trainings and events, and works with Director of Training Keith Mercurio, Master Trainer Dan Friesen and Event Planner Anna Rasmussen to deliver a quality experience to the Nexstar membership.
