Attend Comfortech, a show for plumbers too

The single best business event of the year for the plumbing industry will occur Sept. 18 – Sept. 20 in Philadelphia.

The single best business event of the year for the plumbing industry will occur Sept. 18 – Sept. 20 in Philadelphia. You owe it to yourself, your business, your family, your employees and your customers to attend.

For years, Comfortech was the exclusive province of the air conditioning industry. Last year, plumbing and hydronics were introduced to rave reviews from the contractors attending. This year, it will be even better.

Comfortech offers plumbers three main value propositions. The first is education. Comfortech is stacked with quality seminars by industry leaders who will show you new ways to get more sales, be more efficient, and become more profitable.

The second value proposition is the networking. After the seminars end, there are planned, fun events designed to give you the opportunity to mix with other contractors in informal, relaxed settings.  While most contractors come for the seminars, they consistently say the networking with peers from other cities is the best part of Comfortech. Find people like you, who have faced challenges you face, who overcame those challenges, and are willing to share.

The third value proposition comes from the trade show. This is an opportunity to learn about new products, new software, new sales and marketing tools, and more.  It’s not only an opportunity to learn about the products, but to meet the top executives of the companies offering them.

General sessions

Comfortech has a few sessions for everyone. This includes the keynote with John Kruk, the three time Major League Baseball All-Star and Lead Analyst for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball.  What can an athlete who worked hard to achieve excellence at the pinnacle of his profession tell you about success? Come to Comfortech to find out.

The Mechanical Town Hall will feature top contractors, sharing their best practices and worst mistakes. The Executive Leadership Symposium boasts top industry executives from manufacturers across the trades in an industry forum where they answer forward looking questions about the issues facing the industry.

Comfortech is organized into five educational tracks. These are business management, sales and marketing, service management, technical, and a special track for Service Roundtable members.  Each track features four programs and runs simultaneously with the other tracks. Since it’s likely you will want to attend more than one program during a particular time slot, it’s recommended that you bring at least one other person from your company.

Where the industry meets

It’s said that Comfortech is “where the industry meets” and it’s true.  The Radiant Professionals Alliance, Service Roundtable, and Service Nation Alliance are all holding national meetings in conjunction with Comfortech.  In fact, they’ve been integrated into the program.

It’s not too early to make plans. Yes, Comfortech is three months away, but hotel rooms are already getting booked.  Plus, if you make plans now, you can take advantage of the fare sales many airlines are currently running.

Attend Comfortech because you will learn how to make more money. You will learn from leading consultants.  You learn from profitable contractors. You will see you products and services that can help you make more money.
