Haberberger awarded with two mechanical installation awards by the MCA of Eastern Missouri

ST. LOUIS, MO. — Haberberger, Inc., a full-service mechanical contracting firm located in St. Louis, was recently honored by the Mechanical Contractors Association of Eastern Missouri (MCA) with two Outstanding Mechanical Installation Awards for work on projects for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and Ameren Missouri. The firm has been honored with the mechanical installation award 23 times for a variety of projects over the past several years.

Haberberger was recognized for its process piping work in the category of projects between $600,000 to $2 million for its work for Ameren Missouri. The company was in charge of the Unit #4 condenser debris filter replacement at the Labadie Energy Center in Labadie, Mo. The project was led by Superintendent Phil Jones, General Foreman Kevin Hartman and Project Manager Steve Haberberger, Jr.  Rob Betz was the engineer for Ameren Missouri. 

In the category of projects under $1 million, Haberberger was also recognized for its outstanding process piping work for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District’s Caulks Creek “A” Pump Station in Chesterfield, Mo. The Haberberger team was in charge of keeping the existing dry well pump station operational while doing demolition and replacing the existing piping and the three existing pumps. The project was led by Haberberger Project Manager Steve Haberberger, Sr., and Superintendent Rick Princivalli. Plocher Construction was the general contractor on the project, with Chad Plocher serving as site superintendent. Mike Rebbe served as construction superintendent for MSD.
