LA MIRADA, CALIF. – Makita Industrial Power Tools has launched Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion, a new national promotion offering select free tools with purchase and value-added on select items. The new promotion is part of the company’s ongoing effort to engage professional tradesmen and serious tool users with its products, sponsorship initiatives and marketing programs.

“Makita is all about the pro contractor and the serious tool user, so we will continue to offer best-in-class products, including more cordless tools in our growing LXT Series,” says Brent Withey, Makita’s Sr. Brand Manager. “We’ll also continue to deliver promotions like this one that present big value to serious tool users and make a big impact on the marketplace.”

Makita’s Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Promotion arrives one month prior to the fourth anniversary of the introduction of the company’s Lithium Ion Cordless Series. After four years the series now offers 36 cordless tool solutions with more on the way. All LXT tools are powered by an 18V Lithium-ion battery for greater power with less weight, longer run time and a faster charging process with its Energy Star-rated Rapid Optimum Charger.

Value-added offers in the promotion include a free 3-speed cordless impact driver via mail-in redemption with purchase of select LXT cordless tools. The driver has three speed settings for a range of fastening tasks. Other incentives include a free jobsite radio with purchase of a miter saw and more.

The Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Promotion also offers outstanding value on the company’s “Z” models (bare tools sold without a battery and chargers), as well as select LXT combo kits ranging from the 2-piece LXT211 to the 15-piece LXT1500.

“The value offered on the LXT bare tools is an excellent opportunity to tool-up,” said Withey. “The LXT Series has 36 tools that will run off the Makita 18V Lithium-Ion battery, so this is a compelling incentive to jump in.”

The promotion also includes a sweepstakes, offering an 18V Lithium-Ion 15-piece combo kit to ten grand prize winners. For more information, go to makitatools.com.
