FALLS CHURCH, VA. —With new regulations fast approaching – and new technologies and business strategies changing the landscape of the plumbing and HVAC industry – contractors are discovering that readiness and responsiveness are the keys to separating them as the frontrunners.
To give them that upper hand in business, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association (PHCC) has packed CONNECT 2013 — set for Oct. 16-19 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas — with big ideas on topics they asked for, including online marketing, customer service, business diversification, new DOE water heater regulations, a changing workforce, environmental issues, and much more.
Keynote speaker and Forbespublisher and columnist Rich Karlgaard will kick off the conference with a presentation that will put attendees on “The Edge of Innovation.” He has interviewed hundreds of companies to see what separates the frontrunners from the stragglers in this tough post-recession economy, and has uncovered some surprising discoveries regarding which business strategies create the most sustainable edge.
Other educational sessions will help conference-goers break away from “business as usual” with innovative ways to address dramatic changes impacting the p-h-c industry, and highly respected leaders in water conservation will reveal ground-breaking programs and business opportunities in that arena.
