Lisle, Ill. - More than 300 vendors and 5,000 water industry professionals plan to attend Water Quality Association's Aquatech USA 2009 convention and trade show, an international exhibition & conference on water technology, March 17-21 in Rosemont, Ill. The convention and trade show will showcase water treatment equipment and its installation, service, flow requirements and efficiency improvement, and offer a variety of educational and training seminars, and networking opportunities.
Seminars will focus on business elements needed to run a successful company, from sales and business strategies targeting the water treatment market to Web marketing and business ethics. Attendees will also have the chance to learn about running a business during the Best Practices panel discussion. Small business owners will share with attendees their personal stories regarding their business experiences and what enabled them to run a successful company.
The Strategic Planning keynote address will focus on the water treatment industry, business planning strategies and how to successfully implement new business ideas and concepts. Also, The New Realities of the Global Marketplace keynote address will focus on the economy.
At the Web Marketing and Business Ethics sessions, attendees will learn about effective and ethical advertising and sales techniques. Plus, they will learn how to create a dynamic company Web site and how to gain customers through online advertising.
The Creating a “Creating” Sales Force and Sales Training: From Order-Taker to Trusted Advisor seminars will focus on sales and lead generation, and relationship-building practices. Participants will learn how to cultivate a creative sales force that will know what questions to ask customers in order to help them as much as possible while increasing company sales.
Other seminars will focus on high level technical knowledge regarding arsenic removal, combating waterborne pathogens and the application of ozone and UV. Attendees can also participate in sessions about international standards and regulations, water conservation and reuse, and understanding plumbing design, among others.
