Bradford White Donates to the PHCC-NA

Bradford White Corporation honored Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) National Auxiliary members by hosting a combined scholarship and awards program at the PHCC CONNECT 2012 annual convention, Oct. 3-5, Philadelphia, PA.

AMBLER, PA – Bradford White Corporation honored Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) National Auxiliary members by hosting a combined scholarship and awards program at the PHCC CONNECT 2012 annual convention, Oct. 3-5, Philadelphia, PA.

Bradford White continued its industry support by again donating $15,000.00 to the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors – National Association. This year $7,500.00 went to the PHCC Education Foundation and another $7,500.00 to the PHCC National Auxiliary.

Bradford White’s very own retiree Ted Sikorski awarded the donations during the annual PHCC-NA Breakfast meeting in Philadelphia on October 4th.  Sikorski retired in 2007 and served as vice president-marketing for Bradford. Throughout his career Sikorski was an affiliate of numerous industry associations and served on the board of directors of the PHCC, where he was a loyal supporter of the Professional Product Line Program, the PHCC Education Foundation and the PHCC Auxiliary. During the event, Sikorski was recognized by the PHCC for his long standing support of the association and education foundation and honored with the Lifetime Membership Award.

The PHCC National Auxiliary is comprised of state and local chapters located throughout the country. The scholarships are designed to attract and support new talent that is essential to the future of the plumbing and HVACR industry. The scholarships are designed to attract and support new talent that is essential to the future of the plumbing and HVACR industry.  This year’s Auxiliary scholarship award recipients were: Kevin Keeler and Jose Coronado who are both enrolled in the Plumbing Apprentice Program at the PHCC of San Diego chapter in California; and Kyle Helm who is enrolled in the Mercer County Vo-Tech Plumbing program in New Jersey.
