AMERICAST ENGINEERED STEEL BATHTUBS
AMERICAST ENGINEERED STEEL BATHTUBS from American Standards feature StanSure slip-resistant surface coating, which covers the entire tub floor, providing 56% more coverage than in previous models. The textured surface, now in a visually appealing bright white hue, does not easily trap dirt, making it easier to clean. The tubs themselves are fully bonded to a high-quality porcelain enamel surface. They are lighter than cast iron, making them easier to ship, carry and install. A contoured design provides the bather with increased lumbar support. A pre-fabricated leveling grid underneath the tub provides extra support for the tub floor to prevent warping and cracking.
NEW UNION FITTINGS from Viega for the MegaPress and MegaPressG systems are now available for schedule 5 to schedule 40 carbon-steel piping system in sizes 1/2" to 2". The fittings use a stainless-steel grip ring with and EPDM sealing element for the MegaPress system, or HNBR for the MegaPressG, along with a stainless-steel separator ring that ensures the sealing element and grip ring perform at maximum capacity. The MegaPress system is easy-to-use, flameless and environmentally friendly.
LX205T WI-FI TOUCH THERMOSTAT
THE LX205T WI-FI TOUCH THERMOSTAT is designed for use in electric underfloor heating applications and can control LX Foor Warming Mats, LX Floor Warming Cables or the TX Thermal Trace electric heating products. With a 3.5" high-resolution color touch screen, the thermostat features an intuitive control, and enables remote access to the system via apps for iOS and Android. It is programmable, allowing occupants to benefit from warm floors when space is occupied and save energy when the space is empty. It is universally compatible with existing floor heating sensors.
INDUSTRIAL WATER REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
THE INDUSTRIAL WATER REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM uses the latest in low energy, high efficiency membrane technology to produce reliable high-quality water at low operating costs. It can remove 99 percent of contaminants including dissolved minerals, bacteria and other impurities. It can produce water suitable for high-purity applications such as boiler feed and ingredient water for food and beverage production. The system is available for flow requirements from 22 to 200 GPM with salinity levels up to 4,500 PPM. It is fully skid-mounted for fast and easy on-site installation.
535H SERIES PRE-ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES
THE 535H SERIES PRE-ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES are offered in sizes from 1/2" to 1-1/4". Ideal for residential and commercial applications, the valves feature a dial indicator for direct PSI setting and optional pressure gauge for local downstream pressure indication. The series has a noise-reducing, low-friction, pressure-balanced and replaceable cartridge for control stability. High temperature rating of 180 degrees F and high pressure rating of 300 PSI make the series ideal for hot water booster systems. Connection types include sweat, press, PEX barb and NPT.
DESIGN ENVELOPE VERTICAL-IN-LINE RETROFIT
THE DESIGN ENVELOPE VERTICAL-IN-LINE RETROFIT allows building owners to replace the moving parts of an installed constant speed pump while retaining the existing pump casing, insulation and piping. The innovative solution reduces the costs of equipment, shipping and scrap as well as installation labor. It allows owners of existing constant speed pumps with the opportunity to save on energy costs by upgrading to variable speed. Design Envelope technology accommodates future changes in flow requirements. Variable speed operation can mean longer equipment life and greater reliabiltiy.
