Supermarket refrigeration manufacturer Hill Phoenix has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Memphis Mechanical Services of Memphis, Tenn.
Memphis Mechanical is a full-service commercial refrigeration service firm. The company will provide refrigeration service support for Hill Phoenix equipment in large national chains as well as in small locally owned businesses and supermarkets.
Founded in 2001 by President Richard Luhm, Memphis Mechanical's customers include Wal-Mart, Costco, Target, Kroger, Sam's Club, Piggly Wiggly, The Fresh Market, Save a Lot, SuperValue and Schnucks. Luhm and Vice President Floyd Showes together have more than 50 years' experience in the field and share the belief that what sets Memphis Mechanical apart is the level of experience the company offers to its clients.
"The supermarket industry is a different animal from the rest of the service world, and the training is not necessarily something that can be learned in school," Luhm said.
Memphis Mechanical's employees each average about 15 years of experience, he said.
"I've known the Hill Phoenix people for a long time; they're first and foremost in the engineering side of the industry," Luhm said. "Their innovative thought processes are second to none, and we look forward to being involved with their cutting-edge technology."
