CCA Members Construct Solutions to Business Challenges

Through a variety of focused seminars, tours and networking sessions at a March 7-9 meeting in Charlotte, N.C., members of the Construction Contractors’ Alliance learned proven ways to solve their biggest business challenges.
Through a variety of focused seminars, tours and networking sessions at a March 7-9 meeting in Charlotte, N.C., members of the Construction Contractors’ Alliance learned proven ways to solve their biggest business challenges.

Highlights included:

·        In-depth roundtables where contractors analyzed and provided solutions to pressing decisions and challenges
 
·        A Technology Spotlight of the latest office and field devices and processes that improve efficiency
 
·        A walking tour of Charlotte Pipe’s Cast-Iron Foundry, one of the largest and most modern cast iron foundries in the nation
 
·        A visit to CCA member company Price Brothers Inc., a progressive residential plumbing contractor specializing in high quality single-family and multi-family plumbing systems
 
·        A company and industry trends update from E. Hooper Hardison Jr. [opens as pdf],  Charlotte Pipe and Foundry’s executive vice president, sales and marketing.  

Also at the meeting, Bret Bartley of Gibson Plumbing, San Antonio, Texas, was elected CCA chair.  Other members of the CCA Board of Trustees are: Past Chair Stephen Jones, Raven Mechanical, Houston, Texas; Chris McGinnis, Tucson Plumbing, Tucson, Ariz.; Jim Neyer, Ken Neyer  Plumbing, Cleves, Ohio; Bob Price, Price Brothers Inc., Charlotte, N.C.; Justin Sanchez, Tatro Plumbing, Garden City, Kansas.

The next CCA meeting will be Oct. 3-5 during PHCC’s CONNECT 2012 at the Philadelphia Marriott in Philadelphia, Pa.
