Aalberts Brings Apollo PowerPress Manufacturing to the US
Key Highlights
- US-based production improves lead times and product availability for contractors
- South Carolina facility to serve as global hub for Apollo PowerPress technology
- Local manufacturing supports sustainability goals and supply chain resilience
Aalberts integrated piping systems has announced a major investment to establish “Apollo” PowerPress manufacturing in the United States, expanding production at its Pageland, South Carolina facility.
The phased project, scheduled through 2027, is designed to increase manufacturing capacity, improve lead times and strengthen the company’s local-for-local supply model. The first US-produced “Apollo” PowerPress products are expected by early 2027.
“Bringing “Apollo” PowerPress production to the US is a crucial milestone for Aalberts,” said Jacob Speight, CEO of Aalberts IPS Americas. “It reflects our commitment to investing in advanced technology, sustainable operations, and a stronger customer experience right here in North America. This move directly supports Aalberts’ global ambition to double our North American business by 2030 and positions our team to lead the market with speed, precision, and care.”
US Facility Positioned as Global Production Hub
Once fully operational, the Pageland facility will serve as the global hub for “Apollo” PowerPress technology, supporting customers across North America with faster delivery and improved responsiveness.
The expansion is expected to enhance local technical support while reducing reliance on overseas production, helping contractors and distributors better manage project timelines.
Capacity Expansion Targets Lead Times and Availability
By bringing production closer to the end market, Aalberts aims to streamline supply chain performance and reduce delays tied to transportation and import logistics.
Increased capacity at the South Carolina facility is also expected to improve product availability across key press system applications, supporting contractor demand for faster installs and consistent product access.
The investment aligns with Aalberts’ broader sustainability goals by reducing transportation distances and associated emissions.
New manufacturing equipment planned for the facility will focus on higher efficiency and precision, supporting both environmental performance and product quality.
Building on the Apollo Valves Legacy
The move extends the legacy of “Apollo” Valves by combining US-based manufacturing with advanced press technology and global engineering expertise.
As the project progresses, Aalberts is positioning the Pageland operation as a long-term cornerstone of its North American growth strategy and contractor support model.
