AUSTIN, TX — Werner® has opened the Werner Height Safety Center in Austin, Texas, expanding the company's investment in height safety innovation, hands-on training and customer collaboration.

The new facility serves as an innovation hub for Werner's growing Height Safety business, bringing together engineering, product development, manufacturing, training and customer engagement under one roof. The center also supports parent company ProDriven Global Brands' strategy to expand its height safety platform across construction, industrial and engineered fall protection applications.

New Facility Supports Product Development and Training

The Werner Height Safety Center provides a dedicated space where contractors, distributors, safety professionals and Werner employees can evaluate products, participate in training and provide feedback that helps shape future height safety solutions.

Customers will be able to experience products firsthand while collaborating directly with Werner's engineering and product development teams.

"Expanding our Height Safety platform is a key strategic initiative for ProDriven Global Brands," said Gary Scott, Chief Executive Officer, ProDriven Global Brands. "One way we are supporting that growth is through innovation hubs that bring talent, customers and expertise together to respond to evolving market needs, accelerate innovation and leverage opportunities across our global business. The Werner Height Safety Center in Austin is the latest example of that commitment."

Height Safety Remains Strategic Growth Area

Werner said increasing demand for comprehensive height safety programs—including equipment, technical expertise, education and jobsite support—continues to drive growth across construction and industrial markets.

The company expects the new center to strengthen its ability to develop solutions for commercial construction, post-construction maintenance and industrial engineered applications.

"Werner has earned strong end-user preference in access and fall protection, and we see a meaningful opportunity to continue elevating the Werner brand as a leader in height safety solutions," said Brian Kagen, President, North America, ProDriven Global Brands. "The Werner Height Safety Center supports that strategy by helping us continue to grow our Height Safety platform across construction safety, post-construction safety and industrial engineered applications."

Customer Feedback Drives Future Solutions

According to Werner, the facility is designed to accelerate product development by allowing customers and end users to work directly with the teams designing future height safety equipment.

"Innovation moves faster when the people developing products are working side by side with the professionals who use them," said Eric Miller, Vice President & General Manager, Werner Fall Protection. "The Werner Height Safety Center allows us to listen, collaborate and respond with greater speed, bringing together engineering, product development, manufacturing and distribution to transform customer insights into market-leading solutions more quickly."

Facility Builds on Werner's Field Training Programs

Werner has provided on-site safety training for contractors and industrial customers across North America for decades. The company said the Austin center complements those existing field-based education programs by offering immersive product demonstrations and expanded learning opportunities.

"Our customers have always looked to Werner for trusted solutions, expertise and partnership," said Don Freeman, President of Sales, Professional. "The Werner Height Safety Center builds on the work our teams have delivered on jobsites for years and gives customers new ways to collaborate with Werner, experience solutions firsthand and take practical knowledge back to their jobsites and work environments."

Werner said the facility represents its continued investment in innovation, customer collaboration and safety education as demand grows for comprehensive fall protection and height safety solutions.
