MOKENA, IL — A new professional qualifications standard for water treatment equipment installers and service technicians is now available, giving contractors, employers and regulators an updated benchmark for workforce competency.
ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI/CAN Series 22000-2026 has been designated as both an American National Standard by ANSI and a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.
Standard Sets Baseline Qualifications for Field Personnel
The Series 22000 standard establishes uniform minimum requirements for personnel who install, service and repair water treatment equipment.
For contractors, that creates a clearer framework for hiring, training and credentialing technicians working on residential, commercial and institutional systems.
