Victaulic Releases Green Edition of Podcast Series

The podcast, "Shades of Green," features John Sommers, of Henderson Engineers Inc, a multidiscipline engineering design firm based in Lenexa, Kan. During the interview, Sommers provides information on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rated projects and his experience working in sustainable building construction.

"In a green building project the goal is to get to an integrated design in which, if done properly, you provide a building that's at least twice the performer of standard construction and at the same cost or below," Sommers said during the Radio Victaulic podcast series.

Another podcast with Pat Cornelison, associate principal architect at Somerville, Mass.-based Arrowstreet Inc., gives insight into the Artists for Humanity Epicenter, a LEED Platinum rated building located in Boston. Cornelison shares insight into the design of the building and the modifications that were made to help it earn a Platinum LEED rating.
