This effort is part of the non-profit American Solar Energy Society (ASES) National Solar Tour, the world’s largest grassroots solar event. As one of the 25 designated Solar America Cities, the City of San José is partnering with several organizations to host this year’s tour including: the U.S. Department of Energy, the ASES, local solar companies including Clean Solar, REC Solar, RPS Solar, and SunWize, and San José residents.
As an added feature, the San José Green Vision Clean Energy Showcase will be available for free tours. Located across the street from San José City Hall, 200 E. Santa Clara Street between 4th and 5th Streets, the Showcase is an exciting hands-on demonstration of solar technologies to help educate, inform and enable the community to go solar and save money! Stop by to see some of the latest technology developments in the solar industry.
