FORT WAYNE, IND. – Shambaugh & Son’s EMCOR Construction Services Division, has recently been awarded four new contracts to perform renovations and installations to improve the building mechanical systems and enhance energy efficiencies at nine Indiana schools.
A leading facilities services and construction contractor in the Midwest, Shambaugh and Son is a subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc. EMCOR Construction Services (ECS) division’s scope of work for each contract includes:
Danville Community School Corp. – ECS will provide construction services at four locations -- three schools and an administration building. The scope of work includes installation of new boilers and boiler controls, domestic water heater replacement, room air conditioning unit replacement, exterior maintenance, replacement of auditorium and gymnasium roofs, locker room renovations, and driveway and parking lot repaving.
Central Noble Community School Corp. – ECS will provide construction services under two separate contracts, and at three schools. Scope of work includes boiler and boiler control replacement, controls system replacement, unit ventilator replacement, installation of a hybrid geothermal central plant, and a new domestic water well field and lighting upgrades.
Taylor Community School Corp. – ECS will provide construction services at three schools. The scope of work includes boiler and chiller replacement, HVAC upgrades, retro-commissioning of mechanical systems, lighting upgrades, control system programming enhancements, entry door replacement and window upgrades, IT server consolidation, cafetorium audio system upgrades, security system upgrades, and roofing upgrades.
