LAS VEGAS — Penguin Toilets Model 524 won the 2011 Best of KBIS People’s Choice Award. Achieving this award amidst a record number entries, Larry Trowbridge, co-founder of Penguin Toilets LLC, said, “Penguin Toilets is honored to be recognized by the attendees of this show. The Model 524 sets itself apart as the only toilet with built in overflow protection utilizing a secondary drain system. Model 524 is a contemporary style toilet, WaterSense listed at 1.28gpf, uses a Fluidmaster 3-in. flush valve, and obtained a 1,000-gram MaP test score.
The toilet is sold at retail, but Penguin has a trade line and is in the process of setting up wholesale distribution.
Larry Trowbridge and Pat Stack founded Penguin Toilets in 2005 by while working in the hotel construction and renovation industry.
