ROCKVILLE, MD –Vector Security, a top ten electronic security systems firm in Pittsburgh,Penn., is lending support to MSCA’s Project Home Again, a program that has helped locate missing children during the past 12 years.
Working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, MSCA prints and distributes posters of missing children. The posters are then provided to participating companies, for display on their air conditioning, heating and ventilation service vehicles which travel extensively around the community. The program has been an overwhelming success. To date, MSCA has distributed nearly 9,000 posters of 488 different children to 709 participating companies, including association members and friends, like Vector Security. Project Home Again has received special recognition from John Walsh, representing the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, in Washington, DC, and has been featured on NBC’s national news Making a Difference segment.

Vector operates a service and patrol fleet of nearly 300 vehicles. The posters will be displayed on vehicles traveling through 13 Mid-Atlantic States and California. Officials at Vector contacted MSCA after a TV news program in the Philadelphia area featured a contractor displaying Project Home Again posters on service vans.
