In his 23-year career in the service industry, Hannan has held the positions of district manager of a major national plumbing service company, general manager of a franchise company specializing in carpet cleaning and branch manager of a glass company.

Mike Lozier has joined southwest Michigan-based Contractors Mechanical as vice president/business development. He has more than 30 years' experience and has worked on projects such as the Minneapolis Convention Center, city of Detroit's municipal water and sewer systems, University of Michigan Hospital, and for clients that include Marathon Oil, BP, BASF, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler.

The Chicagoland Better Heating-Cooling Council has presented its Jeffrey W. Berg Member Service Award to longtime CBHCC board member John O'Brien Jr. of GHC Mechanical. The award, named for former board member Jeffrey W. Berg, is presented to any member who has exemplified long and meritorious service to the council. In addition to his service to the CBHCC board, O'Brien is the first person to serve two consecutive terms as CBHCC president.

Vendors

With the acquisition of PACO Pumps, Grundfos Pumps has organized management of the two companies' products with the goal of better supporting the commercial building services market in North America. Overall management of the products will be the responsibility of Greg Towsley, regional segment manager, who will operate out of Olathe, Kan. Chris Zelenka, marketing manager, will work from Grundfos CBS Inc. in Brookshire, Texas. Reece Robinson, product manager, will remain in Olathe. He will be responsible for product management of the BoosterpaQ packaged pressure-boosting systems and integrated variable-speed motors. Zeki Oral, product manager, will continue to manage the Grundfos commercial circulation pumps, integrated variable-speed circulation pumps and end suction pumps.

Anders Tollsten will replace Jim Bjork as Uponor North America's executive vice president, effective Sept. 1. Tollsten was the executive vice president of the Uponor Nordic region.

SFA Saniflo has appointed Gregg James to manage its network of independent sales representatives in the 23 states located west of the Mississippi River. He comes to Saniflo with more than 22 years' experience in the plumbing industry, most recently as national sales manager for WDI International.

Rheem Manufacturing has announced that Ian Stewart Farwell has accepted the position of president and CEO. He succeeds Scott D. Martin, who recently left Rheem to pursue other business opportunities. A veteran of nearly 30 years with Rheem, Farwell has held a variety of key management posts for the firm: general manager of Rheem Canada, president of the Water Heating Division and president of the Air Conditioning Division.

Bob Bilodeau has joined Watts Water Technologies as national marketing manager/Watts Wholesale Marketing. Bilodeau has had extensive involvement with valves and valve automation from a project management perspective with his former employers at Worcester Controls and Dresser Flow Solutions.

Grinnell Mechanical Products has recently promoted Brian C. Ragone to national sales director for the North American mechanical market. Ragone has been with the company since 2004, and brings more than 12 years' experience in sales and management to the post.
