Schaumburg, Ill. — The 2008 REX (Radiant EXPO) will be held at the new Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center here from Aug. 13-15, 2008.

Many new companies with new products displaying the latest in technology are signing up along with past participants who also have many new and improved technologies to exhibit. Booths featuring radiant heating and cooling products and services will populate the exhibit hall with products for heated and cooled floors, walls and ceilings.

The latest addition this year is the New Product Market Place pavilion at the center of the show floor. The area will feature the newest products and technology available in the industry.

The RPA's annual competition winners will be featured in the System Showcase kiosk, which will display the award-winning systems and their specifications.

A Radiant Hall of Fame kiosk will be displayed on the REX show floor. The stories of outstanding individuals nominated as Radiant All-Stars and inducted into the 2008 Radiant Hall of Fame will be displayed along with their picture. Special recognition and award presentations will be featured at the general membership meeting on Aug. 14.

This year's program for the conference portion of the event will highlight how radiant has been “green” all along. Some of the industry's most knowledgeable speakers will be presenting on Aug. 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The “Green Team” consists of experts in the industry who are assembling to provide a full slate of current seminars. The seminars include “Simply Green - What Is It?” by John Siegenthaler; “Electric Radiant” by George Royce; “Mod-Con Condensing - Shades of Green” by David Yates; and “Sunshine and Radiant” by Peter Biondo.

Siegenthaler and Robert Bean once again will be the featured speakers at the general session and luncheon on Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. This year they will present “Green Heat To the Rescue.”

Contractors, builders, designers, floor covering professionals, specifiers and other interested trades are all invited to attend the event. Additional information is available at www.RPAconference.com or at 800/660-7187.
