PIPERSVILLE, PA. — Worth & Co. Inc., a leading regional provider of mechanical contracting and maintenance services in eastern Pennsylvania, announced the acquisition of privately held JOF Mechanical. For the last twenty-five years, JOF has specialized in designing, constructing and maintaining mechanical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional customers in the greater Lehigh Valley area.
Worth’s financial and intellectual capital support of JOF’s existing business will allow higher levels of service for JOF. In addition, JOF’s strengths in the design-build project delivery method, the delivery of small projects and in commercial service will complement Worth’s capabilities.
“The synergies between the two companies are very significant,” said Stephen Worth, president and CEO of Worth. “This new relationship is beneficial to both companies by bringing two leaders in the two main project delivery methods of mechanical systems, the design-build and bid and spec, together to provide more complete mechanical system solutions for both companies’ customers.”
JOF Mechanical will continue to operate as it has and customers will continue to enjoy the same value and service to which they have been accustomed since 1986.
