LOVELAND, COLO. — The Board of Directors at the Radiant Panel Association announced the creation of an interim board liaison position in response to Executive Director Larry Drake’s resignation. Jeff Brennecke, three-time association president and current board member, will serve as board liaison effective immediately. Brennecke will take a leave of absence from his board role while he fulfills the liaison duties.
Drake's role with the RPA ends April 30, 2009, and the search for a full-time executive director has already begun. Brennecke's interim role is intended to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure that the board is well-equipped to assist and guide the new director.
"The board would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere appreciation for all the groundbreaking leadership and hard work that Larry has given the organization during his 15-year tenure as executive director," said Ted Lowe, RPA president of the board. "Larry's entrepreneurial skills and passion for the radiant industry were instrumental in starting this organization and keeping it strong and healthy."
Drake and his company, Teal Intl. Corp., have managed the RPA's daily activities with a current membership of 802 contractors, wholesalers and manufacturers. The organization continues its commitment to education and the advancement of radiant panel heating systems.
