GAINESVILLE, FLA. — The National Center for Construction Education and Research and management consultant FMI have partnered to develop a career development map with joint credentials for the construction industry.

This career map will outline recommended training, education and development programs from entry-level craft professionals to executive leadership. This industry tool is intended to help both employers and employees with decisions about investing in training and in making informed career decisions.

"To help today's craft professional understand the rewarding career opportunities available and to help address the emerging shortages of construction managers and executives, NCCER is pleased to be working with FMI on this career development map," NCCER President Don Whyte said.
