Elite winners were announced May 6, 2010 at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, Mich. during an awards luncheon.
The selection process for the West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work for starts with nominations. Then, the company and its employees rate a variety of human resource-related initiatives across nine categories, including communication, community involvement, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, recognition and retention and more. Scores are generated by an independent, third-party organization. Elite winners are selected based on their overall high scores.
