Oct. 28, 2010
The American Institute of Architects has approved American Standard as a course provider for the AIA Continuing Education System.

The American Institute of Architects has approved American Standard as a course provider for the AIA Continuing Education System (CES), the primary source of ongoing professional education for the design and building industry.

AIA members are required to complete 18 hours, also called Learning Units (LU), of continuing education annually. Eight hours must relate to Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) topics, with four being material on Sustainable Design (SD). American Standard is delivering two one-hour-long AIA/CES courses, each of which provides one LU of HSW and SD content.

There is no charge for either course, both of which can be delivered in person by trained American Standard representatives or accessed online from American Standard’s educational partner, Hanley Wood University, at www.architectsces.com.

Interested parties should contact Jeremy Cressman at [email protected] to locate course providers in their areas.
