When installed in ideal conditions — a warm, unconditioned climate such as an attic, basement or garage with at least 7' X 10' X 10' cubic ft. of air space — it is able to deliver an Energy Factor of 2.2. It draws ambient heat from the air around it to heat the domestic water supply, saving the homeowner money on both their heating and air conditioning needs. It produces zero emissions, has no venting requirements, and qualifies for a $300 Federal Tax Credit. Features include a large, easy-to-read LCD display, an enameled steel storage tank, magnesium anode rod and a 10-year limited warranty on tank and parts.
