MCAA Annual Convention Canceled

March 16, 2020
Due to ongoing Coronavirus concerns, the annual convention has been canceled.

MCAA's annual convention in Maui, HI, has been canceled. The association will continue to update members with additional information as events unfold. MCAA has pledged to refund convention registration fees in full, noting it may take as much as 30 days to process all the refunds.

MCAA has instructed all convention hotels (including the Grand Wailea and the Marriott) to refund room deposits. MCAA has chosen to assume the financial obligation for its members.

For those who still choose to travel to Maui (or those who have already made the trip) all convention hotels will continue to honor room reservations at the discounted room rate indicated on hotel confirmations.

In a statement on its website, the association said,

"The volunteer leadership and staff of MCAA sincerely apologize for all that has happened. This has been an incredibly difficult situation. We have tried to do our best, and we always will."
