ELYRIA, OH – Ridgid, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, announced their participation in FABTECH, Sept. 13-16, in Chicago. This year’s FABTECH marks the return of in-person tradeshows for many professionals, and Ridgid has several major activities planned for the occasion, including hands-on demos with the latest tools, contests and more.

“Interacting with contractors at tradeshows is one of our team’s favorite parts of the year, and we’re excited to be back together with them at FABTECH,” said Larry Feskanich, senior global marketing manager, pipe fabrication, Ridgid for Emerson. “There’s so much we have to share.”

With jobsite efficiency more important than ever, tradespeople are invited to stop by the Ridgid booth (#B17062) to be one of the first in the industry to experience two new innovative tools built for speed, safety and performance: the PCS-500 Pipe Saw, designed for fast cuts in the field or fab shop, and the RP 351, the first in-line standard press tool. “Both of these tools were designed to help tradespeople get more done in less time, and we can’t wait to show off these new products at FABTECH,” said Feskanich.

    Features of each tool include:

      • PCS-500 Pipe Saw – The fully transportable Pipe Saw cuts 1-inch to 12-inch pipe up to a 1⁄2-inch wall thickness. Designed for versatility, the Pipe Saw cuts steel and stainless steel and with a quick switch to one of the optional blades it cuts plastic and cast steel. Eliminating the need to struggle with gas tanks and open flames, or handle loose tools, the Pipe Saw secures to the pipe with a rugged 3-point roller system that sets up and cuts up to 12-inch pipe in minutes. Conveniently placed handlebars and feed rate speed monitoring with LED interface enable easily controlled rotation from a comfortable, ergonomic position.
      • RP 351 Press Tool – Weighing only about eight pounds with battery, the RP 351 features an advanced brushless motor, known for maximizing tool longevity, efficiency and durability. Its 360- degree swivel is an industry first and comes paired with brightest-in-class LED lights to let users see more clearly in low- and no-light applications. And no scheduled maintenance means less downtime.

Greenlee, also a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, will be joining RIDGID in-booth this year to showcase select tools, including the Shear 30T Shearing Station, 854DX Electric Conduit Bender and C3 Auto WhipTM Clad Cable Cutter.

In addition to product demos, attendees stopping by the booth can enter to win one of three branded welding helmets.
