SAUGERTIES, N.Y. — The National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals announced that Brian Pruiksma, manager at KOSCO, Saugerties, N.Y., notified them that one of his technicians, James Dempsey and his family, lost their home March 11 due to a fire. The family has lost everything except their car. Dempsey is a 25-year employee of OESP-member firm KOSCO and a dedicated oil heat technician.
The company is collecting cash donations for the family to help them get through this crisis. Sadly, this is a second blow to the family. Their daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatments in Albany, N.Y.
Dempsey and his wife Carol have two children, Ashley and Josh. Anyone who wishes to contribute should send a check made payable to James Dempsey and mailed to KOSCO, c/o Brian Pruiksma, P.O. Box 1269, Saugerties, N.Y. 12477. Cards of encouragement too can be sent to this same address.
