Aquisition brings Direct Energy new customers

SARASOTA, FL — Direct Energy, a leading energy, commercial retail energy and energy services company, has acquired all the assets of an appliance rental company based in the Northeast United States for $4.5 million.

The agreement will bring approximately 14,000 new customers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire who rent water heaters, HVAC equipment, or who have related protection and service plans.
