RACINE, WIS. — InSinkErator has awarded Grand Prize dream trips to two plumbing industry professionals who participated in “Pitch Black,” the company’s summer-long training program developed to introduce the new PRO Series line of food waste disposers.
Trip winners Avery Bledsoe and Jessica Krekeler were selected from participants in the 2013 InSinkErator program, which featured online product training and tips on presenting the new PRO Series disposers to customers. The Pitch Black prize winners were given their choice of an expense-paid trip to Hawaii or tickets for two to their favorite pro or college team’s game.
Bledsoe, of A&B Plumbing Service, Indianapolis, selected the game tickets package, while Krekeler, of Ferguson Enterprises, Chesterfield, Mo., chose the Hawaii trip.
Nearly 3,000 plumbing professionals participated in the online Pitch Black event, which ran through summer 2013. InSinkErator made Pitch Black available to all U.S. plumbing contractors and kitchen designers.
“We’re thrilled with the response from Pitch Black participants, many of whom have expressed their excitement over the new PRO Series product lineup,” said Joe Maiale, InSinkErator vice president of wholesale sales. The new PRO Series, which includes the compact and powerful PRO 1000LP, is available exclusively through professional plumbing contractors.
PRO 1000LP boasts of all the grinding power and sound technology found in the top-of-the-line PRO 1100XL — which is based on the past Pro Excel design — but in a compact size designed to fit under most any sink.
“Plumbing pros have told us that they are thrilled by the added power and performance of the new PRO Series,” Maiale said. “They also like the new, exclusive black color of the disposers.”
