Stephen V. Levee named Pres. MCAA of Metro Washington

Stephen V. Levee was installed as the 2011 President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) at their January dinner meeting.

Stephen V. Levee was installed as the 2011 President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) at their January dinner meeting.

Mr. Levee established Joshua Construction, Inc. in September 1988, a union mechanical contractor that serves metro DC, Maryland and Virginia and specializes in public projects such as mass transit systems, airport improvements and public school renovations. Mr. Levee has more than 35 years of mechanical and general construction industry experience. Prior to establishing Joshua Construction, he served as President of Halco Engineering.

Mr. Levee holds a Masters in Industrial Engineering from New York University. He also received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union. He has been a member of the MCAMW Board of Directors since 2007 and has served as a member of the following MCAMW Committees: Audit & Budget, EEO, Education and Industry Fund Trustees. Mr. Levee has also been a member of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington is a one hundred & twenty-two (122) year-old organization composed of 80 union mechanical contractors in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This Association represents contractors in the DC, Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland areas and is a local affiliate of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), a major trade group in the United States that represents plumbing, heating, piping and air conditioning contractors.
