NCPMA to host 2012 Summer Convention

The North Carolina Plumbing & Mechanical Association is gearing up for the NCPMA’s 2012 Summer Convention.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Plumbing & Mechanical Association is gearing up for the NCPMA’s 2012 Summer Convention. NCPMA, an affiliate of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association, invites cooling, heating and plumbing contractors and associates to be a part of our Summer Convention from Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22 at the Holiday Inn Resort in Wrightsville Beach.

This year’s convention, entitled “Connecting to Your Future,” has a number of activities set to inspire individuals in their personal and professional lives. The Conference includes informative sessions with Don Hadley of Applied Vision Works Inc. and Nick Gonzales, a “Connect at the Beach” tabletop displays event of industry pertinent products and services, NCPMA Board and Committee meetings, an Aloha Luau and Hi-Wah-Yun Flower-Dee Shirt Night, an NCPMA Association Dinner with keynote speaker, Don Hadley, and a silent auction. 

There are also a number of family activities planned including an ice cream social, family picnic, contests and an outing to Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park and a golf outing for the more serious golfers at the Cape Fear National Golf Course.

“We are very excited to share this event with cooling, heating and plumbing contractors and associates,” said Jim Pendergrass, executive director of NCPMA. “The Summer Convention is a great way for contractors, associates and their family members to connect with one another. It’s not only about connecting with others in your industry but connecting with loved ones and yourself. We want attendees to walk away inspired about their lives and their businesses.”

All-inclusive conference packages are $185 for NCPMA member couples and $210 for non-member couples, $100 for NCPMA member individuals and $120 for non-member individuals, $75 for teens and $45 for children ages 7 to 12. Children under 6 are free.
