As the temperatures have dropped across the country, plumbers have been out saving pipes. Fox Connecticut reports that plumbers have been “overwhelmed” with emergency calls due to the terrifyingly cold temperatures.
Pipes and plumbing have been freezing across the state, resulting in burst pipes and flooded out homes.
Steven Miller of Miller Plumbing & Heating in West Hartford says, “If you have a frozen pipe, you should deal with it.”
For our contractor friends who have been out in the cold temperatures, what have you seen in people’s homes or businesses? Has the cold hit any customer particularly hard? We’d love to hear your stories. Let us know on Facebook or email Content Producer Hal Conick at [email protected].
