A running toilet. A drippy faucet. A cracked irrigation system. These are just some of the ways a customer’s home can unnecessarily lose water. It may start as a drop here and a drip there, but as plumbers know, these can add up very quickly and end up costing customers a lot of money.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has designated this week, March 16-22, as Fix a Leak Week. In honor of fixing leaks across the country, we took a look at some facts about the toll leaks can take on households across the U.S.
