SONOMA, CALIF. Peterson Mechanical Inc, (PMI), a Sonoma-based, fourth-generation plumbing, heating and air conditioning company, has been awarded the contract to provide the plumbing and piping systems for San Francisco State University's (SFSU) Recreation & Wellness Center.  The Center is expected to begin construction this year and be completed by late 2016. The General Contractor is C.W. Driver, a premier builder serving the Western United States since 1919.

The facility will house a variety of programs, including a dual-court gymnasium, aquatic fitness center, weight rooms, racquetball courts, a climbing wall and an indoor jogging track. A faculty/admin office suite and classroom are included in the new facility.

Serving the greater Bay Area, PMI is a mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing and refrigeration for commercial, industrial and residential markets. The company provides design, construction and service.
