ORLANDO, FL — Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric is partnering with The JOY FM as presenting sponsor of the network’s 21st annual T-Shirts for Turkeys food drive, a statewide campaign that helps provide Thanksgiving meals for families in need.
Partnership Extends Del-Air’s Community Commitment
“Del-Air has long believed that our responsibility extends far beyond providing comfort inside our customers’ homes,” said Rob Haines, Marketing Director for Del-Air. “We are an integrated part of every community we serve, and we want to help ensure that families who may be struggling don’t have to go without their Thanksgiving comfort food. Del-Air and our employees have donated more than 10 tons of food in partnership with the Southeastern Food Bank over the past two years, and supporting The JOY FM’s T-Shirts for Turkeys event is a natural extension of that relationship.”
First-Ever Presenting Sponsor of T-Shirts for Turkeys
The food drive, scheduled for Nov. 10-13, will feature designated “Turkey Stops” at Chick-fil-A restaurants, food banks, thrift stores, and churches across Jacksonville, Orlando, the Treasure Coast, greater Tampa Bay, and Sarasota. For the first time in the 21-year history of the campaign, a company—Del-Air—will serve as presenting sponsor.
Employee Participation Adds Local Impact
As part of the sponsorship, Del-Air is contributing financially and encouraging employees to donate and volunteer at collection sites. Company staff will help at donation booths across Florida to increase turnout and community engagement.
“Our team members don’t just work here, they are neighbors, friends and engaged in all the local communities and organizations Del-Air serves,” Haines said. “That’s why giving back is so important to us. At Del-Air, we believe meaningful impact begins within making our own communities a comfortable place to live. United around a shared purpose, we have the power to strengthen families and foster hope.”
How to Donate
Listeners are encouraged to donate a frozen turkey or contribute $15 in cash or grocery store gift cards. Each donor receives a newly designed The JOY FM T-shirt in return. Frozen turkeys go directly to local food banks, while cash and gift cards are used to purchase additional turkeys and food supplies to reach more families.
