Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical (Hiller) is continuing its annual Toys for Tots partnership in 2025, using tankless water heater sales to support underserved families across the greater Nashville area.
Now in its sixth year, the promotion ties every tankless water heater installation in November and December to a direct donation toward holiday toys—turning routine equipment upgrades into measurable community impact.
Turning Equipment Sales into Local Giving
Under the program, Hiller contributes $50 from every tankless water heater sold during the promotion period to purchase toys for Toys for Tots. As an added incentive, homeowners receive a $500 discount on each tankless water heater installation.
In 2025 alone, customer participation helped generate more than $13,000 in donations, which translated into over 1,232 toys and gifts for children in need. Since launching the initiative in 2019, Hiller has contributed more than $63,000 in toys to families throughout the Nashville region.
A Longstanding Partnership with Toys for Tots
Founded in 1947 by the US Marine Corps, Toys for Tots is a national nonprofit that provides new Christmas gifts to children and young adults who might otherwise go without during the holidays. The organization has distributed more than 708 million toys and gifts to over 314 million children nationwide.
Hiller’s program aligns closely with the nonprofit’s mission by pairing essential home upgrades with consistent, year-over-year support for local communities.
A Family Tradition Behind the Program
Each December, Hiller Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Hiller and members of the Hiller family personally shop for toys to be donated through the program. This year’s shopping trip took place on Wednesday, December 17, with the family hand-selecting toys, games, and gifts inspired by their own households.
“The holidays, while magical, can be a particularly stressful and financially challenging time for a lot of families,” said Jimmy Hiller. “Through this promotion, we’re able to make sure that more children get to experience the joy of Christmas. We feel incredibly blessed to give back to the neighborhoods that have been so good to us—with the help of our customers.”
Built on Growth and Community Support
Founded in 1990 by Jimmy Hiller as a one-person operation, Hiller has grown into one of the region’s largest residential plumbing, HVAC, and electrical service providers. Today, the company operates more than 600 “Happy Face” trucks and employs 880 team members across 17 locations in seven states.
This year’s donation continues a tradition made possible by customer participation, reinforcing how service contractors can combine business growth, customer incentives, and community responsibility into a single, repeatable model.
