SAINT PAUL, MN – Nexstar Network is excited to announce that it will be working to bring talented, experienced technicians into Nexstar members’ businesses through a new recruiting initiative.

Lead by Nexstar’s Recruiting and Workforce Development Coach Steffan Busch, the initiative will capture the attention of technicians already in the plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical trades who are looking for best places to work.

“Nexstar members are destination employers today that offer great pay, world-class training and career opportunities,” said Nexstar President and CEO Jack Tester. “We started this recruiting initiative to tell the industry how special it is working for a Nexstar-affiliated company. It will be good for our members and great for industry talent looking for a new opportunity.”

The new jobs website, www.nexstarjobs.com, houses a job board for Nexstar member companies and is full of useful information to help technicians land their dream job. Nexstar is collaborating with strategic partner BirdDogHR to manage the applicant tracking system. Nexstar members, whether BirdDogHR users or not, will have the ability to post their job openings to the board at no extra cost.

Busch also coaches members through their own hiring processes and works with them to strengthen retention once they have the employees they want and need.

“In my time with Nexstar, I’ve already had the opportunity to work with members in maximizing their recruiting efforts and increasing employee retention,” Busch said. “I’m looking forward to seeing the ways in which this website will also support our members in these areas.”
