ITASCA, IL — The ASA Education Foundation, providing industry-leading education and training services to ASA members, the PHCP-PVF industry and beyond since 1977, recently announced the addition of two team members. The hirings of Kathy Treadway as program development manager and instructional designer, and Tina Hickey as education programs and services administrator, builds on ASA-EF’s major momentum over the past year, which also includes the promotion of three veteran team members in Taylor Kenney (VP Education), Diana Bautz (Senior Manager Training and Development) and Abby Jamroz (Education Engagement Manager).

“The ASA Education Foundation team has never been stronger — your go-to for all things education,” Kenney said. “Our multi-functional team represents expertise in many areas, including educational curriculum design and needs analysis, competency mapping and evaluation, adult learning theory, instructional design and educational consultancy.”

The ASA Education Foundation Team

Taylor Kenney – Recently, the ASA Education Foundation underwent a change in leadership with the promotion of Taylor Kenney to vice president of education. Prior to accepting her new role, Taylor served as the Foundation’s program development manager for several years, overseeing the critical role of growing and maintaining ASA’s educational offerings. Taylor has also served for more than a decade in the medical association space managing cross-functional educational teams, designing and executing learning strategy, and guiding her organization and team to success. Taylor has a well-rounded adult education background, and can talk shop about anything from learning objectives to learning management systems.

Diana Bautz – In recognition of her achievements at ASA, Diana Bautz recently was promoted to the role of senior manager of training and development for the ASA Education Foundation. Diana previously served as education manager at ASA, bringing new enthusiasm to the role by connecting with members across the organization to meet their training needs. One of Diana’s many passions is a keen eye for safety in the workplace, a skill set and interest that grew with her previous management role at the National Safety Council. Diana’s deep expertise in growing and maintaining impactful learning curriculums has guided ASA’s members to new heights with their training programs.

Kathy Treadway - Kathy Treadway serves as program development manager and instructional designer. Applying her vast knowledge in adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies, she works to creatively evolve ASA University training into more engaging and value-driven learning, focused on objectives that align to learner needs. Prior to joining ASA, Kathy was the manager of training and services for an education resource management software team that delivered thousands of training events annually to a global K-12 client base. Kathy is also an Army veteran, who served as a finance officer for more than 10 years. She looks forward to engaging with ASA members to learn more about how training can help them grow and evolve their knowledge and skills.

Abby Jamroz – Recently promoted to education engagement manager, Abby Jamroz was previously the Education Foundation’s programs and services administrator. Through her new role, Abby continues to offer exceptional customer service and support to all current and prospective members and is the “go-to” for questions and information regarding ASA University’s programs and resources. In addition, Abby helps to create marketing collateral for the Education Foundation. She is excited to continue to expand member engagement with ASA-U.

Tina Hickey - Tina Hickey recently joined the ASA Education Foundation as the education programs and services administrator. Tina’s dedication to customer service and her skill in providing top-notch service enhances each interaction with our members. Prior to accepting her new role, Tina served as an administrative professional for a large medical association, providing customer service to members and non-members, helped in developing live and online education, and in coordinating virtual and in-person meetings. Tina has worked for numerous associations in the education and meetings departments.

“With industry-specific content you won’t find anywhere else, ASA University offers timely, accurate training grown for the industry, by the industry,” Kenney said. “From fully vetted job roles and assessments to custom-grown training programs unique to your needs, ASA University has the knowledge, tools and expertise to take your training to new heights.”
