SupplyHouse Launches Foundation to Support Skilled Trades Pipeline
Key Highlights
- SupplyHouse Foundation targets workforce development across plumbing, HVAC and electrical
- Expansion of scholarships and training programs supports next-generation technicians
- Focus on local partnerships aims to strengthen contractor hiring pipelines
SupplyHouse has launched the SupplyHouse Foundation, a new initiative aimed at strengthening the skilled trades workforce and expanding access to training and career opportunities across plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
The move formalizes the company’s philanthropic efforts into a single platform focused on workforce development—an ongoing challenge for contractors across the industry.
Foundation Centralizes Workforce And Community Initiatives
The SupplyHouse Foundation will act as a hub for the company’s existing and future efforts, bringing together scholarships, nonprofit partnerships and community programs under one structure.
The goal is to create more consistent access to training, resources and career pathways for individuals entering the trades—while supporting the communities contractors work in every day.
“Our customers and the trades community are at the heart of everything we do,” said Kaylin Staub, President of the SupplyHouse Foundation and Chief Marketing Officer at SupplyHouse, an online distributor offering more than 280,000 supplies for the plumbing, HVAC and electrical trades. “The launch of the SupplyHouse Foundation is a meaningful step in deepening our commitment to giving back, supporting the people and communities that keep our industry moving forward.”
Scholarships and Training Programs Support Entry Into The Trades
One of the Foundation’s core focus areas is expanding access to education and hands-on training.
That includes growing SupplyHouse’s Track to the Trades scholarship program, which helps individuals pursue careers in plumbing, HVAC and electrical work—key pipelines for contractors facing ongoing labor shortages.
Additional efforts will focus on creating clearer entry points into the trades, helping attract and develop the next generation of technicians.
Nonprofit Partnerships Aim to Strengthen Local Trade Communities
The Foundation will also support nonprofit organizations working to build stronger local trade ecosystems and infrastructure.
These partnerships are designed to improve access to training, resources and support systems at the community level—where workforce development challenges often show up first.
For contractors, stronger local networks can translate into better recruiting pipelines and more consistent workforce availability.
Long-Term Investment in The Future Workforce
SupplyHouse positions the Foundation as a long-term investment in the trades, with an emphasis on sustained impact rather than one-time initiatives.
To support engagement, the company has launched a dedicated Foundation online hub, hwww.supplyhouse.com/supplyhouse-foundation, outlining its mission, programs and opportunities for involvement.
“This Foundation represents a long-term investment in building a stronger future for the trades,” Staub added.
