THE TOYOTA TACOMA REGULAR CAB TRUCK is offered with either a 2.7 L. DOHC 16-Valve four-cylinder engine with 180 lb.-ft. of torque, or a 4.0 L. DOHC 24-Valve V6 engine with 266 lb.-ft. of torque. The truck body is constructed from one-piece frame rails with eight cross members and a fully-boxed front sub-frame. It features coil-spring double wishbone front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension.
