American Plant Maintenance (APM Steam) and Aquatomic Products Company have formed a strategic collaboration to provide integrated thermal energy services to mission-critical facilities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
The companies will coordinate their expertise in steam system services and water treatment to help facility managers and operators improve energy efficiency, system performance and operating costs. Both companies will continue operating independently, retaining their existing brands, teams and customer relationships.
Collaboration Combines Steam and Water Treatment Expertise
Aquatomic brings decades of experience in boiler and cooling tower water treatment, while APM specializes in steam trap surveys, system assessments, repairs and energy efficiency improvements.
By coordinating services across both steam and water systems, the companies aim to provide facility operators with a more comprehensive approach to thermal infrastructure. The combined capabilities are intended to improve overall system performance, reduce service disruptions and lower operating costs.
Shared Operational Tools Support Service Delivery
Aquatomic will begin using selected operational resources from APM, including project management and reporting tools. The companies expect these resources to streamline service delivery and provide customers with faster, more transparent project outcomes.
The arrangement allows each company to concentrate on its technical specialties while improving consistency and scalability across coordinated projects.
Existing Customer Relationships Remain Unchanged
The collaboration will not change customer points of contact, account structures or existing service commitments. Customers will continue working with the teams they know while gaining easier access to a broader range of coordinated thermal energy services.
The companies intend the arrangement to simplify facility management while strengthening reliability and value across steam and water treatment systems.
APM and Aquatomic will continue to operate as separate businesses, combining their capabilities to help facilities address current operating demands and future thermal infrastructure needs.
