Design Journal introduced the Awards for Design Excellence in 1994 and is considered the largest, most prestigious awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. An anonymous panel of professionals representing a cross section of the design industry conducts all voting for the ADEX awards. All products and brands are evaluated and ranked according to product form, function and fitness for a specific purpose in the award submissions. Each category has potential for three award levels of platinum, gold or silver. Winners are announced each year in the April issue of Design Journal.
Along with Gerber’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, the ADEX awards reinforce the brand’s dedication to manufacturing innovative plumbing products.
