Team Danze rides to victory at the Denver Children's Hospital 2012 Courage Classic

Danze, Inc. sent a team of 40 cyclists to participate in the 23rd annual Denver Children’s Hospital Courage Classic held July 21-23.

WOODRIDGE, IL – Danze, Inc. sent a team of 40 cyclists to participate in the 23rd annual Denver Children’s Hospital Courage Classic held July 21-23. The Courage Classic is a 3-day, 200 mile bicycle tour, which climbs over 15,000 vertical feet while riding through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to raise money for The Children’s Hospital. Team Danze lived up to its core value of being a positive force as they raised over $25,000 for The Children’s Hospital.

The members of Team Danze included Michael Werner, Keith Yurko, Jeff Pratt, Gary Cardono, and Daniel Mercier from Danze as well as James Calvert from Mountainland Supply Of Utah and his customer Kevin Barkdull; Brian Schiff from Wholesale Specialties of Denver and his customers Dave Coffey and Clay McManus from Adam Country Plumbing and Heating; Mike Fox from e-improvement, Jeff Heksh from Crawford Supply, Tom Gabriel from GdB Advertising, Scott Weaver from APR Supply, Sandy Perry from Rampart Plumbing Supply, John Petrie from the NKBA, Rui Ponte and Gary Frantz from Fitzpatrick Sales, Howard Pollack from Stonebridge Hospitality, Gary Womack from Noble Hotel Investments and friends.

“The course was both physically and mentally challenging.  It wound through 200 miles of incredibly beautiful Rocky Mountain ski resorts and towns. Everyone loved the event, and our guests said that they will come back next year and bring their friends,” said Michael Werner, President and CEO of Danze. “The Denver Children’s Hospital is a major research institution that provides critical care to thousands of infants and children annually, and our support is consistent with our core value of being a positive force,” continued Werner.

The Children’s Hospital is a private, not-for-profit pediatric healthcare network based in Denver, Colorado. Their mission is to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy.
