After joining Lake Mechanical he completed a four year apprenticeship training program through Associated Builders and Contractors. For many years in the field he supervised crews, as a leadman, a foreman, and ultimately as a project manager. His field experience includes work on a variety of heavy commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects and that experience served him well in preparing accurate estimates .Gary has managed the estimating and pre construction department for 23 years. He is a state-certified mechanical contractor and he also studied economics at the University of Kentucky.
